SC-JE Exam Pattern is as follows:
Paper I: Computer Based Examination – i) General Intelligence and Reasoning ii) General Awareness iii) Part A: General Engineering (Civil and Structural) or Part B: General Engineering (Electrical) or Part C: General Engineering (Mechanical).
General Intelligence and Reasoning, and General Awareness comprise questions that total 50 marks (in each case).
Apart from this, the third part – General Engineering (Electrical) or General Engineering (Mechanical) is of 100 marks.
Paper II: Written Examination – i) Part A: General Engineering (Civil and Structural) or Part B: General Engineering (Electrical) or Part C: General Engineering (Mechanical) is 300 marks.
The duration of Paper-I and Paper-II is 2 hours each.
